One of the most important resources for musicians, would have to be a list of local music stores. Not only are they are a great place to begin your music journey by buying your perfect instrument; but they are crucial to making sure you are always stocked up on strings, picks, sticks and having your maintenance on speed-dial.
The first time you need anything instrument-related, you always have to jump on to google and start with a few key words… “where to buy guitar strings in Adelaide” , “best violin repairs in Adelaide” …
And you’re quickly diving into a long list of various threads, ads and general chaos.
So how can you possibly know the best places to go in Adelaide?

Well, we at Music Eternal, are here to solve your problems! (Well, this one at least…we don’t know why your cat is coughing up feathers…)

We have compiled a list of local Adelaide music stores, complete with a description of what each one has to offer, links to their website and then, we have asked our experienced tutors what their go-to place is for various instrument needs.

So here it is – the only list you’ll ever need for your music store needs!

Global Music Revolution – OG Road, Klemzig   https://www.globalmusicrevolution.com.au
This is your best local guitar and band, online store. Their online service and pickup options are brilliant!

They specialise in guitars, however, they also have drums and percussion, keyboards and recording gear. They’re an excellent shop for amps, PA, sound systems and they also have a large performance space and rehearsal rooms on it’s way.

Winston Music – Daw Park

https://size.com.au
These guys are the “Orchestral Specialists”. They sell brass, string and woodwind instruments, as well as sheet music. They offer both school and personal hire and will do repairs and maintenance, as well as “Pro-Set”, a professional instrument set up.

So if you are about to book a free trial with us because you want to learn flute, head to Size first to hire an instrument!

Leaver and Son   – Osmond Street, Norwood                                                               https://leaverandson.com.au/                                                                                               For all your piano needs, piano moving, tuning and repairing. Leaver and Son combine their furniture repair skills with their piano restoring, tuning and moving business to create a store where you can buy a piano, have one brought to new musical life in their workshop or have your piano safely moved and tuned.

So remember, if you are looking to have one of our amazing piano tutors come to your home, get that piano tuned first!

(They also kindly hosted the Music Eternal Teacher’s Band on their front lawn during  the setup for the Norwood Pageant in 2018)
